Raising Funds for the Brain Tumour Charity

Posted by | Dundee, Nursery News | No Comments

Little Einsteins Nursery  in Dundee had fun last week raising money for our chosen charity of the year, the Brain Tumour Charity. For this they were sponsored to wear bandanas and tee-shirts all week. They had fun activities going on throughout the week including baking, party games and playing on the bouncy castle. The children had to wear something red or a bandana. Altogether a massive £459.50 was raised.

Many thanks to everyone who took part and supported our fundraising.

Puppet Show at Hillside Nursery

Posted by | Glasgow Mansewood, Nursery News | No Comments

The 3-5 year olds current theme at Hillside Nursery is Fairytales. All of the children participated in creating a puppet show. With great use of their imagination they created the puppet show theatre out of a cardboard box, made their very own puppet show tickets with special characters on them and made their own stick puppets. All of the children were very excited and each child got a turn of performing their own show. Fayaaz collected in all of the tickets before the show and they all enjoyed watching one another – lots of laughs were had.

Open Day Success at Dundee

Posted by | Dundee, Nursery News | No Comments

Little Einsteins Nursery in Dundee had a successful Open Day in the Nursery on Saturday and a stall in the Overgate shopping centre where they offered a free face painting service to young shoppers. Leaflets were handed out around the town centre publicising the opportunity to come and see the newly refurbished nursery, situated in Thistle Street and those who popped in were impressed with the nursery facilities, inside and out.

Butterflies Set Free

Posted by | Glasgow Mansewood, Nursery News | No Comments

The children in the 3-5’s room at Hillside Nursery in Mansewood have been learning about the life cycle of butterflies. We have all watched the butterflies grow from caterpillars, into their cocoons and then into beautiful butterflies. We let the butterflies fly free yesterday and all of the children loved the experience of getting to hold them and see them finally fly.
