Little Einsteins Paediatric First Aid

Posted by | Glasgow Pollokshields | No Comments

Staff at Little Einstein’s were in at the weekend to complete a First Aid Training Course. This was a great opportunity for new staff to complete their first training session and for other staff to refresh their training. For all staff it was greatly beneficial and a variety of topics were covered;

– The role of a First Aider,
– Looking out for signs and symptoms for various minor injuries and how to treat them,
– Practicing CPR on babies, children and adults,
– Bandaging for different types of injuries
– Dealing with choking

The staff and company as a whole are always looking for training that will help them in their role and ensure the highest safety for our children within the nursery.

The children from Little Einsteins Perth nursery who have left to start primary school had a Graduation Party to celebrate the next big step in their lives. There was great excitement as these photos show with lots to look forward to at the “big school”.

Note the box of tissues in the corner of the photo above – for the staff of course, not the children!

The children at Little Einsteins Nursery in Perth got a real insight into the food process the other day. They picked the lovely shiny red apples that they have all watched growing in the Nursery garden over the last few months and helped make a delicious apple crumble which was served for dessert.

 Lovely apples!

  Peeling the apples carefully and the dish of delicious apple crumble which they all enjoyed for lunch.
