Early Years Practitioner/Driver (Term Time) – Little Einsteins Nursery Kirkcaldy

The Little Einsteins Nursery group currently has an opportunity for an enthusiastic, committed and motivated individual with a passion to deliver excellent day care to children to join the Team in Kirkcaldy as an Early Years Practitioner and Driver working during school terms only. The successful candidate will hold HNC or SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent and will work 30 hours per week. Duties also include dropping off/picking up children between the Nursery and primary schools within Kirkcaldy, for which the successful applicant will also require a clean driving licence.

Manager – Little Einsteins Nursery Kirkcaldy

Situated in Kirkcaldy, we are an established nursery offering childcare from 6 weeks to 12 years. We currently have an opportunity for an ambitious and experienced person to provide professional leadership to the team.

Duties of the role include:

  • Maximising occupancy at the nursery and ensuring it is operating to full capacity by successfully marketing the nursery.
  • Overseeing the activity programmes to ensure all staff prepare, supervise and record suitable activities to create, develop and stimulate an environment in line with pre-school curriculum/GIRFEC, to enable children to socialise and develop to their full potential.
  • Interviewing, selecting and inducting staff as well as managing ongoing HR and training requirements.

To be considered for this position candidate must demonstrate:

  • At least 2 years’ experience of successfully working at managerial level within a nursery.
  • Strong initiative, leadership and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships with staff, parents, children and outside agencies.  Excellent written and oral communication is essential.
  • Meet the qualification criteria required by SSSC.

Duties of the role include:

Deputy Manager – Little Einsteins Nursery Perth

Little Einsteins is recruiting a Deputy Manager for the Perth Nursery.

The role involves deputising for the Manager and working as part of the management team to provide professional leadership to staff.

  • Overall management responsibility for the Nursery in the absence of the Manager.
  • Assist the Manager to provide effective day to day management of the Nursery.
  • Work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with parents to enable children’s needs to be met.
