Its been a busy summer at Little Einsteins in Kirkcaldy.

The nursery visited the Ecology Centre in Kinghorn where they explored the willow hut and willow tunnel. They had a look to see what was growing in the recycled bottle greenhouse and looked at how they had recycled materials to make mosaics and wind spinners.

T In The Park – in our case ‘T’ stood for Teddy as we held our teddy bears picnic on the same weekend as the famous music festival.

Visit to the local Vet – As part of our eco-schools programme and working with the community, the nursery collected old newspapers and took them to the local Vets to use as bedding for the sick animals in the vet hospital. We collected 31 newspapers!

Mosaics – the children have been making mosaic artwork for our garden.

Fire engine – Twinkles 3 and Sparklers have been learning about people who help us. The children were delighted with a visit from the local fire fighters.
